Where to store stinky sewer pipe?

My tab 400 sewer pipe storage in the trailer. It's a sealed pipe inside under the bed with access outside. Unfortunately the last camp I was at, the Nucamp supplied hose was too short. Took some manouvering to dump. So bought a 10 foot extension. Now where to put it? Do I ordered two legths of 5" pvc pipe with wing nut end plugs. To secure it I have U clamps for that pipe. My plan is to clamp the pipe to the frame longways between the front of the camper and the hitch one on each side. You can access by undoing the end cap. One tube for the sewer hose and the other for spare storage, just because. I'll post how it turns out. Next will be a little platform width of the front gas storage to strap a 5 gall water container. Since it will be very close to the hitch I don't expect to put any extra load on the frame.

I finished the sewer pipe storage. You can get a collapsed 10' pipe inside.

I had my dealer install a storage tube through the bottom/back part of the storage box... You can zoom in and see it, behind the aluminum brace above the frame.

Tundra57, did you paint the pcv & uclamps? If so, how has the paint held up to rock chips, etc?

We decided on a different method to store our sewer hoses. We bought 5 gallon screw on bucket lids from Home Depot (link below). 10 feet of Rhino hose and both end fittings fit well in one bucket. We carry a second bucket with 10 more feet of hose, but haven't needed it yet. The sealed buckets ride in the bed of our truck or on the boondock platform. Easy to sanitize the bucket when the trip is over w/bleach and water.

Painted the tube with paint for plastic furniture. No Chips yet except where I scratched it. Bucket idea is great.

I was able to get two 10’ sewer hose sections, including the fittings, inside the stock storage tube on my 400. The only piece that would not fit was the 90 degree elbow connector that you use at the dump station.

If 15' will work for you, the Camco Rhinoflex 15' hose with built in 90 deg elbow fits in the 400 stock tube.

I got one 10 foot length in mine. But worried the tube might crack. Hence I moved the hose. I am thinking to use the integral tube for the shore power cable

@Tundra57, I have stored a 15’ Rhino hose with elbow in the storage tube of my 400 for over 18 months. That tube is heavy duty and I sure don’t see how it would crack. My sewer hose will continue to be stored there as it is so easy to get it out and remove it. There’s also no leakage of any fumes into the inside of the 400.

I purchased a circular electrical Bucket Boss Zippered canvas bag for my electrical cable and it works well in the door side rear cargo door storage under the bed. I also keep a 25’ and a 50’ G-Flex hoses in water proof bags in that compartment with a few other items.
