2016 Kia Sorento 3.3L and Tab 400

If your Sorento is a front wheel drive the max towing is 3500 lbs. This isn't sufficient for a loaded 400. The four wheel drive version can tow 5000 lbs so in theory it should work but considering it's HP and torque ratings I'd guess it would really have to work to pull a 400 especially in the mountains. https://www.moritzkia.com/blog/2016-kia-sorento-towing-capacity/

Maybe someone has some real world experience they can share. How does your Sorento do with the Max S in hilly or mountainous terrain now?

We tow a 320S with our Sorento V-6 AWD. While it's great for the 320S, I don't think I'd try a 400.
