Tail Light LEDs going out

So in a previous post I asked a question about some (not all) of the LEDs in one tail light going on and off occasionally. I have a request into Princess Craft for pricing on a replacement tail light assembly.
Next question--I purchase my 2017 Tab 320S used, and it is in excellent shape. I thought that LED lights were supposed to be the premier "bulbs" because they last so much longer than regular bulbs? I wouldn't think that a tail light should already be having problems??
Anyone else experiencing issues with their tail lights?

Over the years, yes, taillights have gone out. I had mine replaced on my T@B S Max. The one thing about LED’s is that in a cluster of LED’s if one goes out, the rest will follow.Verna, Columbus, IN

@lkc001,
In three years, we have had this happen twice to the driver's side tail light. Just a couple of individual LEDs not working. In both cases we just jiggled the seven pin plug at the TV and they came back on. We chalked it up to a voltage drop due to a not-so-great connection. Cleaned the socket and plug. No more problems.

@JanandDave Thanks--I will try that! I'm sure I'll be having sticker shock when I get a price for a new tail light assembly. . . . . .

I had posted this in another thread in November 2019: "My 2018 T@B left LED stop light was intermittently failing....mostly not working. I keep thinking it was the 7 pin connector but finally traced it down to a faulty LED tail light. I found an exact replacement which is Kaper II L15-0022 Red Trailer Stop/Turn/Tail Light. Fount it on Ebay for $33.50 at https://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-Combination-Tail-Light-3-1-2-Round-Stud-Mount-1-Right-Passanger-Side-Light/131297547713?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649."
