Scooter mount?

Wondering if any of you have tried to mount a scooter on the frame in front of the propane tub?
We don't really have any way to put a hitch on the rear of the t@b 320 due to its shape and It would be nice to have a small 50cc scooter under 200lbs to do local errands. Tongue weight rating of my vehicle is about 700lbs so I'm not worried about weight, just more how/where to put it.

Maybe I need to trade the SUV in for a small pickup...
