12v Outlets

Had 2 phones in need of charging plugged into the USB outlet of my 2017 320s, after few minutes the outlet and USB connectors got quite hot to the touch and the power to the phones was cutting in and out. It appears the 12v outlet can't handle multiple devices, what is the power output of the 12v outlets? Thanks in advance

Don't know the specifications for units installed in T@B.
eTrailer has one that looks the same and it's specifications are:'18 320 S, pitched axle, 3020HE; PNW basedTV: '17 Colorado V6 Z71 4x4, Tow Package, GM Brake Controller
TV: '25 Canyon AT4
Adventures: 58 Nights: 405 Towing Miles 50,180 -
