Dometic CFX3 and CFF Cooler Recall

I just received a recall notice from Dometic for my CFX3 cooler (I know there are some others out there that may not be registered). It seems there is a fire issue if they are plugged in to both 12 VDC and 120 VAC at the same time. Here is a link to the Dometic web page with details of the involved freestanding coolers:

It could be an issue for someone wanting to have ease of use with shore power and boondocking. Either AC or DC is still fine, just not connected to both at once.
Reading further through the documentation that was sent says the issue is the AC could send 28VDC back through the 12VDC circuit. This could damage other 12V devices in the trailer, RV, boat, etc. and lead to a fire.
The "Fix" is a sticker to attach next to the power input ports saying not to be plugged in to both power sources at the same time...
