Our air conditioning unit is on the floor. Even though we have it set at 60 it does not cool our t@b down enough to be comfortable. We ended opening up our vent and turned the fan on to help lift the cool air. We are new owners and appreciate any tips to help us.

There's another thread going about the wall mounted air conditioners but someone there suggested a small DC/12v fan set on the floor would hel get the cool air up since it stays toward the floor. Would probably be better than the ceiling fan as you wouldn't lose the cold air, just circulate it.

Sandra - unfortunately you have to have the fan open about a third before it will run. Can't just crack it a bit.
