Jan 29-31 Winter Camping trip

Thursday's forecast called for a patch of mostly clear weather, above freezing, so off I went on my 2nd "shake out" trip in my (new to me) 2014 T@B 320 S. I chose a (BC) provincial campground that offers 'winter camping', just 40 miles from home and completely off the cell grid. The second photo shows the scale of the beautiful Western Hemlock trees that surrounded my site.

Over my 48 hour stay, the temperature was around 40-45F and I ran the Alde and fridge on propane the entire time. I used about 30% of the propane and barely made a dent in the brand new lithium battery. This was a welcome change from my first "shake out" trip that was an unmitigated disaster (dead battery). So this was the first time I had ever slept overnight in the T@B. The first night was not great, getting used to the sound of the Alde and hating the nasty Jensen radio and fridge lights, which I covered up the next day. I slept beautifully the last night, despite a pounding rain storm.
There were a few additional shake out items on this trip, but nothing I couldn't handle:
- I'm looking forward to adding https://www.organizedobie.com/ gear nets so that I can get clothing etc. out of the way. The narrow shoe holder that fits over the shower door is fabulous for small things I use often.
- I was hoping for hot water, but no! Hoping this gets sorted out soon:

I'm so thankful for finding this trailer 'gently used' a few months ago and l plan to take weekend trips at least once a month to help keep me sane through the semi- Covid-19 lock-down we are currently in. Wishing everyone peace and happy T@BBING!

You can dim the Jensen lights to zero. If you didn't get the manual with your trailer, you can find Jensen manuals here: Support | ASA Electronics
My 2013 has the AWM975 but yours might be different.
From page 5:
Press and hold the VOL control to access the user menu. Press the VOL control to step through the menu options. Rotate the VOL control to adjust the selected menu feature. • LIGHT: Adjust the standby mode LCD brightness from “LIGHT 1” (least bright) to “LIGHT 3” (brightest).
Also FWIW, in my trailer some of the Jensen connections eventually failed. It was a pretty easy task to pull the head unit and fix the splices. Just something to keep in mind if a speaker stops working or if the TV gets fuzzy.San Francisco Bay Area

Thanks @Marceline - I didn't find an "off" setting. The "LIGHT 1" settings seems to be the lowest and is still too bright.

That's strange. On mine, that makes it completely dark when the stereo is turned off. It only illuminates when I turn it on to play some music or the radio.Mellow_Yellow said:Thanks @Marceline - I didn't find an "off" setting. Mine is completely dark as well - now that I have covered it up with cardboard and tape!2014 T@B 320 S "Sunny" - 2015 Toyota Sienna LE - British Columbia, Canada
