Replacing battery

I just purchased a new group 24 battery. The same battery that comes standard with my 2019 Boondock 320 zMy question is when I disconnect the old battery am I gonna have to reset anything or is everything going to work OK I have a Victron controller for the solar etc. would like to hear from Boondock openers if possible .

As long as the new battery has the same basic amp hour rating, the Victron won't notice "that" much difference. The solar controller will just pick up doing what it has been doing. Take a nice photo of your current battery connections, it will be helpful when you try to put all the cables back together.

Usually, a Group 24 battery is listed as being something between 70 to 80 amp hours at the "20 hour rate." That is the number that "might" need to be changed in the Victron battery settings.

So: what battery do you have now? What battery are you putting in? We can probably find the specs for both and help you dial the numbers accurately.

Then everything is a simple unbolt and replace. The Interstate page for this battery says it comes in at 81 amp hours....so I was off by an amp hour!
