Power Mgmt/Surge Protector Install on Tab 400

I’m picking up my 2021 tab 400 Tuesday and have purchased a Progressive hardwired PMS.   I’ve installed one before on another trailer but would like to know 

1.  Where to install on Tab 400
2.  Is wire length adequate to install without extension
3.  If wire isn’t long enough is doing a junction box or replacing wire on one side or the other a better approach.  If so, which side.
4.  Any other Tab 400-specific tips

     I put mine in the compartment that is accessible from the outside door and below the bed.  It is right next to the battery cut off switch.  I did run wire from the external power connector to the PMS, but in the end it probably wasn’t necessary.  Since I do not want the monitor gauge inside the unit I mounted it in the same space.  

    When I hook up at the site and or set the battery all power is accessed from the same spot.
