Outside Door Grab Handle stripped screws

The top screws on the Sofitel door grab bar were getting loose and finally stripped. I was surprised to see they are only attached
to the thin outer shell wall. appears to be about .12 to .18 thick? I can't believe they stayed in as long as they did.
After thinking about filling with epoxy and trying to re-use the original wood screws, I went with drilling into the interior
wall and using 10-32 hex bolts and stainless dome nuts on the outside. Painted the hex bolt heads to match interior color pattern.
Interesting find in the bottom handle bracket was the LED strip to light the handle. Was never wired in though.

-The bottom mounting bracket where I found the LED strip, had quite a bit of water in it.
