Hour Meter for Generator

Is anyone out there using an hour meter for their generator? I was looking at something like this for the Champion 2500 dual fuel I have on order.

I created a generator log in which I note all the maintenance I do on my generator. I also log run times in the log. I just check my watch when I start the generator and when I turn it off. No batteries required!

I have one on both my Honda pressure washer and my Honda 2200i generator. Can't recall brand off top of my head. For the generator, there is an aftermarket bracket made that makes a neat install under the plastics, looks factory.

I installed one on my Yamaha generator. I used this one and it works great, plus has an RPM gauge built in as well and many settings for various types of motors.
