2022 East Meets West-Washington State Gathering

Calling all Tab’s, Tag’s, Tada’s! The 2022 gathering of East Meets West -Washington State will be held May 19-22, 2022, at Lincoln Rock State Park north of Wenatchee. Washington State Parks reservations open up August 19, 2021, at 7am (9 months out).


Lincoln Rock books up quickly, so keep checking for cancellations if you can’t get a site right away. Most of “the action” is in C Loop and we hope to book the shelter on the hill again. C Loop (Loop 3) has water/power hookups. B Loop (Loop 2) has water/power/sewer hookups. A Loop (Loop 1) is tent sites, so you are dry camping. A Loop is also closest to the water, nicely shaded, great bathroom and showers and central water spigots. If the only available site is in A Loop and you want to be at the gathering, then grab it. You usually can find a cancellation later and change your booking. 

My team and I are looking forward to a great 2022 gathering! 2020 was covid canceled, 2021 was not officially held, although we had 14 sites booked by Tabbers the same weekend,  as everyone just happened to be there! Fun was had and new friendships were made. We do ask for a $20 per site fee for the event to help us cover our costs, such as the shelter rental fee, supplies, and handmade mementos by Mr @2Cougs.

    Thanks for the note.  We're going to try and get down from Vancouver Island to join the gathering.  We look forward to meeting others from East / West and hopefully North & South!

    I'm commenting mainly to bump this up in the forum.  Reservations start this Thursday (or Wednesday (tomorrow) if you want to come a day early).  The Hills will be there!

    I'm booked into 58 - full hookups - Tuesday through Sunday.   I'll try to change to Loop C - system won't let me make changes until September 17th!  But I'll be there!

    So good to see people getting sites.  I just went in and looked and there are lots still available.  C loop is where most of the action is... but full hookups up in B loop, and boondocking in the best boondock sites I have ever seen in A loop are all great options.

    @RetireeBC you can come when you want and leave when you want. That’s the beauty of it all! The gathering officially starts Thursday 5/19, ending Sunday, 5/22. As host, I come a day early to get all setup, and stay a day later to relax afterwards. We are just glad to see everyone when they can be there!  :)

    Thank you @subfreq111 as your post put this back on my radar after my laptop calendar notifications bit the bullet. Not ideal, but two halves were left at least! We'll be there w/a split rez A1 Thurs/Fri and C77 Sat/Sun nites. Our very first reservations. We're a tiny bit past our due date, but dealer says our contractions should start getting stronger this weekend or right after Labor Day (LOL!) and we'll have our new Tb@By soon.
