Question for 400 Owners

I have a '22 TAB 400 on order and plan to park on my sloped driveway. In addition to some beefy chalks, I would like to run a cable through the chassis and to a heavy duty D ring I will bolt into the concrete. I am thinking maybe running a cable through the two holes in left section of frame in below photo. I don't have one of these close to me to check this out and wondering if anyone knows how big these holes are and if anything in the channel that would block a cable?
I am doing this just as a fail safe in event the chalks come loose (like some teenage kids decide it would be fun) but also for added security in event someone tries to steal it. I have a Proven Industries coupler lock on order as well. The alternative is going around an axle but it doesn't look like much room to me.
Interested what the forum experts think?
Thanks,
Mike

Mike, I would not attach a safety cable to the undercarriage frame. The axle or led one up under the trailer to the tongue and connect to the two safety chains or their attachment point.
cheers

@NorCalMike the holes are just over 1 inch diameter and a cable would pass from in one and out the other if the cable had a curl. I would tend to agree with Denny16 - keep the deterrent visible and easy to attach at the tongue?2021 T@B 400 BD T@bitha with 2016 Highlander

Pass a cable through both the wheels? That would show that you're paying attention. I use a Trimax yellow wheel clamp.
As for chocks, I got some nice solid heavy rubber ones from Harbor Freight.- Virginia

Thanks for input folks. I have decided going through the frame holes probably not good idea. Is there room around one of the axles near a rim?

I bought this chain lock from Harbor freight

If you wrap the chain through the wheel opening around the axle torsion arm and then back out another wheel opening the chain will prevent the wheel from turning. It's also good for theft prevention.

@RFraer be sure to lube the lock that comes with this. Ours corroded and was hard to open. Gave me a stressful moment for sure.2019 T@B 400 BDL 2017 F150 3.5L Ecoboost

Jeffro, I noticed that also but once I lubed it it worked fine.

If you are going to put an anchor into the concrete, consider placing it just behind where your tongue wheel would sit, then use the safety chains to attach to the D-ring anchor, then a lock through the chains. If you use the safety chains, you will never try to drive off without disconnecting from the anchor!

I use one of these for my motorcycle when we are out of town. It folds down when not in use.
