Kitchen Faucet Spray Head--2019 TAB 400

With the faucet fully raised the faucet sprays completely over the sink.  Lowering the faucet so the water hits the sink makes it hard to fill any vessel other than the sink.  I would like to replace the aerator with a swivel aerator like those on a standard kitchen faucet.  I assume the aerator simply unscrews from the faucet but it seems to be very firmly attached.  Am I wrong in my assumption that it unscrews?  Has anyone ever managed to unscrew it?  I don't want to apply too much force in case my assumption is wrong.
