Hi! Blu ray question on 2016 T@B Max Outback

I'm new here...we just ordered our 2016 T@B Max Outback.  Can anyone tell me if the Jensen unit plays blu rays?  We are so excited! :)

    I wish I could answer that for you, I don't know what the current model of Jenson system they are using.  Maybe an Outback owner and tell you.

    The TV in T@B has multiple inputs, including several HDMI inputs, making connecting a bluray play easy.

    States the T@Bpole has camped, so far ;)

    I could swear I read somewhere here that it doesn't - it's a proprietary format that has to be licensed and is completely different than CD or DVDs. I don't think there are any computer drives that read them either.
    I've read that blueray is basically a dead format moving forward as everything is going streaming. Over the years, that's happened to me 4-5 times with computer storage systems.

    No, it is only CD and DVD. The unit has a USB input but will only work for MP3 or photos on the TV.

    I've noticed that the entertainment center that my 2015 max s ( no blu ray) has has been upgraded by Jensen to include blu ray and Bluetooth connectivity. I do not know however if Little guy has started to install them in 2016.

    The Jensen DVD does not play blu ray.  In fact, Jensen does not make any DVD players that will play blu ray -- I called and asked because I wanted a blu ray player.  However, the tv had an HDMI connection so you can purchase a separate blu ray DVD player to play your blu ray DVDs.

    Pxlated you can find on Amazon, looked identical, but I don't recall, seeing the connections.
