Valve settings

In the under-seat compartment with the Alde system, attached to the floor, is a yellow valve with a plumbing line that it regulates.
The valve appears to have 3 possible positions --:
1) all the way forward (away from me, flat/horizontal),
2) completely up (vertical),
3) all the way back (towards me, flat/horizontal).
Can anyone tell me what this valve controls, and what these three settings are for?
Thanks in advance.

That’s the Alde pressure release valve. Horizontal is closed. Vertical is open. It empties the Alde if vertical. It has two purposes. This is how you empty the hot water tank. It will also pop open if you are hooked to city water without using a pressure regulator.Jeannie2015 T@b S Max white with silver trim. 2018 GC Trailhawk.
