It does come off! But, it is a bit scary. There are little plastic "Tabs" :)around the outer rim of the screen. Start anywhere along the rim, and gently pull a small are of the the screen rim down. I use a little putty scraper or something flat like that to move the rim down just a bit until I find the a little "tab" and just gently pop it free. Once you get the first one off, it gets much easier.

@CanadianTabber just a hint BEFORE you try to remove the screen: turn the fan on it's highest setting, blowing out (exhaust). Vacuum using a stiff bristle brush. If you loosen some particles either the vacuum catches them or they are exhausted through the running fan. This saves much dirt from falling in the face or eyes as the screen "snaps" free! This is a cleaning tip learned through experience. -Denise2017 t@b sofitel(Dr@gonsFly)TV 2015 Silverado 2500hd(Behemoth). Wyandotte, Michigan.

Turning the fan on high before removing the screen really works. Look at the plastic ring on the screen. There will be a lip that sticks out a little. Pull there. It will help release the first plastic tab. Then pull hard. It will make a lot of noise and you will think it breaks. It will be fine. When you put it back, make sure the tab is in a corner where you can get fingers under it next time.2018 320CS-S
