Screen Door Protection

Has anyone come up with some way to protect their screen door from their dog accidentally running through it? I was thinking of creating a 'screen with heavy mesh' about 3 or 4 feet high, that could be mounted to the frame with heavy magnets. Any thoughts or ideas are welcomed.

    I use a portable baby gate propped against the door, either inside or on the outer step, depending on whether we are indoors or outside.

    I know the Caravel Airstream has a screen door protector. See if you can find some photos of that to get some ideas.

    We replaced the sliding screen door on a 61 Avion, that I restored, with two magnet screens. Starbuck just pushed his way, in and out. Needing to always be with Dena. Actually it comes in a kit , that we cannot remember what it is called.
    We are considering the same on our new 2020 320 Boondock. To make it easier for both the pup and me to pass through without damaging the pocket door. Being kind of an old goat, not great balance, and in need of grabbing something inside, it is a consideration.
