Tab 400 front seat slope

The front bench seats in my 2021 Tab 400 slope slightly, but noticeably, from front to back. Is this a flaw or a feature?

Can you take a pic? They shouldn’t slope but I know the passenger side seat felt sloped on one model we walked through but it could’ve been the cushion.2021 400 BD

If the back of the seat is slightly lower than the front, that is the consensus ergonomic position. I find seating with the rear of the seat slightly lower to fit better, but preferences vary

On the passenger side the cushion extends over the wooden support panel and can feel like it's sloped down. I added a larger piece of birch plywood to match the shape of the cushion and it's much more comfortable.Rich2019 T@b 400

When the pandemic started, there was a very wonderful thread by owners sharing their "mods while social distancing". An extremely entertaining thread for every sort of mod, and things came out beyond the normal "mod". Sadly, the discussion is closed, but as a repository for owner creativity, it really stands out. This comment by @Campwise was one such mod: using yoga blocks to change the angle of the back cushions. There are many ways to do this (I've been using a....pool noodle!)

Thank you all for your comments. In light of what you wrote, I took a closer look. It seems to me now that the cushions are the issue. On the passenger side, the taper is nearly 3/4" in both directions (trailer front down toward back and exterior wall down toward the table). On the driver side it's more like 1/2". Doesn't sound like much, but it is noticeable and somewhat uncomfortable when sitting for any significant length of time. I think @qhumberd's point about the ergonomics explains why it would not feel good. I'll try to find some padding that I can taper and put under the cushions.

Wow, that’s really odd. I know many on here have just bitten the bullet and replaced their inner cushions with better quality cushions (there’s a thread on here about it). I’ll probably be joining them at some point. The taper is odd though.2021 400 BD
