Help! My iPad fell behind the bed in 320

Any advice? My iPad fell behind my bed and I can’t figure out any solution other than taking the cabinet out. I’m on the road so that’s not really an option.

Do a search of this Forum. Several folks have dropped and recovered items.
This nüCamp Support FAQ notes which screws would need to be removed so the center shelf section can be lifted out.'18 320 S, pitched axle, 3020HE; PNW basedTV: '17 Colorado V6 Z71 4x4, Tow Package, GM Brake Controller

I’m hoping to avoid removing the whole thing as I’m on the road and am worried we would have a hard time getting it back on. Nucamp told me to take it off too. I was sad they weren’t more helpful and don’t have a solution to this design fail. They let me down.

Does it have a cover? I was able to drop some string down there and trap the string between the cover And the string. Then I was able to pull it out. It took a long time before I was able to get the string where I wanted it. I put my shoulders down into the space behind the back cushion and used one hand to move the iPad and start the string into place. The other hand held one end of the string from above. I taped the other end of the string from above so a big loop fell down into the space. Hope this makes sense

I tried pushing from below with a variety of things. A wire hanger was most promising, but not effective in the endSubaru Wilderness/Tab320s 2022

@JHenry; On my yr-2018 there is a Foam Shelf taped in place between the bottom of the center cabinet and the Adle Heat Source Convertors. Which is why nüCamp recommends removing the cabinet. You can touch and cellphone camera "see" the shelf from the Driver Side Alde Tank access and the Passenger Side Alde air-bleed access (same type of wood panel to remove)
If the iPad is near the shelf end you might be able to "see" / reach it. Or maybe snake something like a pool noodle along the shelf to push the iPad toward the Passenger end.
Just a WAG.

I got it out by taking the box out. It wasn’t as big of a deal as it sounded. I needed a square head according to Nu Camp but a simple Phillips worked. To get to the screws on the front I used a socket set with the Phillips driver bit. I think I will close the gap with a pool noodle or pipe insulation and will add these tools to my kit. Thanks for everyone’s help.

@JHenry, you don't want to "close the gap" behind the rear storage cabinet. That is how the Alde delivers most of the heat.-Brian in Chester, Virginia

One solution to this was using some type of material that would allow the Alde heat to flow, and protect items from falling into the Abyss. Gutter guard, etc.
