NuCamp usb "key" manual

I am sure i can find my manual in the forum, but I found the silver NuCamp usb key hiding in our camper and tried to read it on my laptop. My computer says it must "format the disk in drive D to use it" and of course format will erase all data.
I know A LOT more about my trailer than I do my laptop. Is this a case of a 2018 usb being out of date or what? No big deal but I am curious to see if I can find a way to open the usb info for fun.
Also, I just completed our first bearing repack and seal (looks like it was just starting to get past the seal, good timing) and a new set of Goodyears. Mid-Ohio AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days here we come!!!

    my limited understanding points to "No" it cannot be accessed with a corruption or whatever. Thank goodness for the forum!

    We were able to read our USB key for a 2018 TaB with a Mac computer.  If your computer is a Max, try a Windows computer, with an older OS running.

    What is the usb for? We bought ours used but never received a usb drive from the previous owner.

    The usb we got had a file with owners manual on it
