Isn't this producing 24v?

Hello! Recently bought a 2022 320 boondock which to my surprise had 2 LifePo4 100ah batteries installed. Everything runs as it should but after taking a closer look it appears they are wired in a series, which as I understand should be producing 24v?  I'm a newbie so I assume it's fine, but what am I missing?  Thanks!

    Your photo shows batteries connected in parallel - positive to positive and negative to negative.  As it should be. Series connection would involve a positive to negative connection between the batteries.

    @slick2699 ;  Your Batteries are correctly connected in Parallel.

    In fact the Go Power literature states they can not be connected in series. (perhaps because that will confuse the built-in BMS {battery management system})

    You can tell the batteries are in Parallel because the Positive Terminals are connected (shorted) together.

    The figure below is from the Go Power 'Quick Start' flyer.

    Thanks guys, i see now.  I think the flipped 2nd battery was messing with my head.

    yes, that is odd.  I would flip the one battery back the other way round (as shown above in the illustration) and use shorter AWS no 6 battery cables to reconnect them back in parallel.
