2020 tab 400 upper cabinet latches broke

Has anyone sourced replacement upper cabinet latches? Or is going through nucamp the only option? See pics below for the type of latch that exploded this morning..

@Melanietab400, we have a 2019 400 and are in the middle of an identical experience. This is the second, maybe third time around for us. We contacted Nucamp when the first latch failed while we were still under warranty. They sent us two replacements. We are looking for the second replacement and may have used it already.

There are also others that have had this problem. We found this older thread on the subject, https://tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/discussion/9788/t-b-400-broken-overhead-cabinet-latches . We've looked on line for the p/n CM8924DB mentioned in the old thread. It is also on the packing list for the 2 sent to us under warranty. This is an Amerock part number. Everywhere we looked on line it showed discontinued.

Nucamp has always been very helpful to us on these things. We suggest in this situation you should contact them and ask for help. They may still have the part in stock or know a good substitution.

We have a alternative in mind and will likely do our own mod to address this issue when the temps here in Florida moderate.

Thanks so much for all that information and background. I have reached out through my dealer to nucamp for replacement.. I sure hope they still have the part. Would be good if they sent two or gave me the option to buy two since the other one is sure to break too.

We had those cabinet latches fail on a rough road. I was really confused at the mess of margarita salt all over the counter and floor! I taped the cabinets closed and contacted a dealer for the parts.

@Melanietab400 Im sure that you have already received new latches. Figured Id add a way to purchase these for others that have these broken as well. I had the same issue recently and found the latches on E-trailer.

Don't buy the ones I linked to above. They look exactly like what I wanted but they are smaller than what is on the trailer and won't work :(
