Right break light

My 2019 tab 320 Boondock is parked in my driveway and not connected to my tv. I just noticed the right break/signal light is on. The left one isn’t. Any thoughts?

Is it really 'On' or just reflecting sun / other light source?

If your 7 pin connector gets water in it it can cause this to happen (happened to me). I just spun the connector around and let centrifugal force remove the water. Blew on it also. Afterwards the light went out. I was more careful about keeping water out of the connector after that...no repeat of the issue.

Okay, we know:
1) Not connected to tow vehicle.
2) Only two places the taillight wiring is exposed;
        front junction box,
        plug end of 7-pin cable
3) For taillight to be on Battery Power must be reaching the taillight
4) Most likely causes;
         a) water short at 7-pin
         b) water short in junction box
         c) damage to 7-pin cable causing wires to short.

Thanks HellFish (and MuttonChops). It was indeed water in the 7-pin. I recently bought a cover for it and I’m usually careful to make sure it is pointed the correct way so it doesn’t collect water but clearly it wasn’t. Opened it up and lots of water came out. Spun it a few times and the light turned off. Thanks again.

Even hanging the 7-pin plug upside doesn't always guarantee against water entry. Water can still wick up into the connectors during a downpour so having a cap on it guarantees against this. Also putting dielectric grease in the connection points protects them against water entry.
