Re-Sealing round TAB Windows

The caulk around the round windows on our 2018 TAB 400 was very brittle and some of it was missing.  There's a product that I've used on several sailboat projects that looks to be similar to what was on the windows from the factory.  The product I've used is Dow Dowsil 795.  It is a commercial grade glazing glue/sealer that has worked well for me on sailboats and remains soft and flexible for years.  You can get it in several colors including black.  I removed all of the brittle old sealant from our windows and reapplied the 795.  Its a perfect match.  Just tape off the window and camper, apply the sealant, smooth it with a finger, and then peal away the painters tape.  You must have some mineral spirits ready for any cleanup including the finger you used to smooth it out.

@ChasBG How has the sealant held up since you placed it?  I need to complete the same maintenance on our 400 and would like to buy the best product for the job.  Do you remove the tape prior to the sealant curing out or once it is dry?  I appreciate any other tips you can give to help with this process.

@ChasBG Thanks for sharing this information.  Has the sealant help up well?  Also, can you share where you purchased it? All tips are much appreciated.
