2019 Aistream 16RB vs 2024 Tab 400

Just looked at a very low mileage Airstream, interior was like-new. Really liked the layout and space. Seller is asking around 35k, which seems very reasonable. A brand new 2024 Tab 400 Boondock is being advertised for 36k near me.
Would I be foolish to pass on the Airstream? Any big advantages to going with the new Tab 400 other than warranty?

You do not say if the 16RB is a Bambi or Caravel . . . .
IMHO part of the Airstream 'quality' image is pure marketing. Have you ever watched an Airstream Factory (build) video?
They have lots of potential failure points, can be difficult to access wires/pipes, and lots of owners have classic (unfortunately standard) RV Build issues with leaks, etc.
Also the Airstreams are full 8-feet wide. So a larger (wider) tow vehicle or super wide strap on mirrors might be needed.
All that said, I would consider a Caravel model . . . .
but no Airstream is on my next trailer wish-list.

I would investigate the amount of airflow in the cabin with all windows open. I so appreciate having left, right and front windows fully open to cool the cabin.2016 Outback 320

I prefer the Airstream layout but the wood floor and plywood subfloor on the Airstream really have me nervous. I know all campers form leaks over time, and having a composite floor will prevent costly repairs.
