Hello all,
2025 Tab320S - I don't get any audio from the TV/DVD to the Tab's speakers but I can get sound to the TV's built-in speakers. Is this normal or shouldn't I be able to hear sound from the Tab's speakers?
Thanks

Which exact model of Jensen do you have? The Jensen setup is often very weird.

It is the JTV1917DVDC. After playing with it, I have discovered how absolutely stupid this TV and remote are. It has TV and DVD modes and certain buttons only work in one mode. I can't change the volume or mute in DVD mode and if I hit the power button in DVD mode, it turns the RADIO on. But those buttons as expected work in TV mode. So idiotic and still no audio through to the external speakers. Thanks in advance for any help.2025 Tab320S pulled by Ford Maverick

I believe your trailer speakers are on one of the two audio channels, try A then B while the tv is playing. Also, turn up the volume while one of channel is selected, it’s possible to have sound going to the trailer speakers but the volume is to low to hear them.2023 T@B 320s Boondock, 2013 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4 2016 Toyota Tundra 1794 4x4

Thanks John, I am not sure I know about channels A or B. How are those selected? Also, I had the TV volume all the way to the max so that isn't it.2025 Tab320S pulled by Ford Maverick

On the Jensen head unit there should be two zone buttons. Pressing Zone A once should turn it on, pressing it again will turn Zone A off. Zone B works the same. My speakers were on Zone A. I was confused at first until I realized the speaker volume was at zero, turned them up and I could hear the audio just fine. The TV speakers operate on their own volume control independently of the trailer speakers. If you have the TV volume louder than the trailer speakers you may not hear them. Also, your source for the TV needs to be going through the Jensen head unit. I use the HDMI source to feed the TV.2023 T@B 320s Boondock, 2013 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4 2016 Toyota Tundra 1794 4x4

Thanks alot. That solved my problem. It was connected to Aux In. Not sure what zone A and B do. They don't seem to do anything. What an overly complicated piece of ##*&!!!!. I am so glad the dealer took the time to explain how all this works...NOT! He pointed at what you call the "head" and simply said that is the radio.TourDeForth said:On the Jensen head unit there should be two zone buttons.
