2023 Tab 320 Boondock Victron Smart Shunt

I am interested in trying a bit more boondocking for a longer period of time.  I want to get a Victron smart shunt to help monitor the battery level.  How do you determine what size shunt to purchase?  My Tab is stock with a 100 amp lithium battery.  The max I would adjust would be a second 100 amp lithium if I find I need it.  Anyone have a suggestion for shunt size or guidance for how to select?  Thank you for the information!

I went with 500A for my 2023 320s because that’s the shunt that came with the Victron BMV 712. (I wanted a voltage display inside my trailer so I chose the BMV 712.) But 300A to 500A is more than enough to handle a 12volt system with a 100ah battery.

Keep in mind the smart shunts are rated in amps (A), not amp hours (Ah). The battery capacity is irrelevant (although the data sheet states the shunt can only keep track of 9999Ah, or 100 batteries :)). Unless the trailer has a huge inverter and a battery bank to feed it the 300A will suffice.
