charging state

Another newbe question. I have a 100w portable solar panel/victron7510, as well as the 100w solar/victron7510 on the roof. Both seem to be working properly, I'm getting 7.5 amp total according to my li-time app. Both fluctuate between 3 and 4 amp via the Victron app. The panel on the roof is in bulk, while the portable one is in absorption. What's the difference, and does it matter? Why aren't they the same? Both Vic7510's have the same settings. This is on a 2021 320s if it matters. The battery is a Li-Time 100amp/hour group24. Thanks

When you have multiple chargers in parallel it’s not uncommon to see this. The one in bulk is doing most of the charging, which boosts the voltage to the battery. The other charger sees this higher voltage and assumes a later stage charging mode as it thinks the charging is nearing completion.

You need to set up a Victron Bluetooth network on one charger and then join that network on the other one, to make them sync together and be in the same charging mode. In the VictronConnect app go into the Settings of the main roof charger and pick VE.Smart Networking. Create and name that network. Then go into the Settings on the other charger, pick VE.Smart Networking and join the named network. That's it. I hope that is all correct, since it's been a long time since I set that up on mine.
