Axle camber seems excessive

2020 boondock lite
i had excessive wear and paid to replace axle with no good result. -
Update from my post in 2021 where I had uneven tire wear (on the inside of both tires). I ended up replacing the original 2020 Tab 400 Boondock Lite tires with Goodyear Endurances mid 2021. I put somewhere between 5-7k miles on the new tires and noted that one was already almost bald on the inside. So I realized it was time for action.
I contacted Dexter with a warranty claim and within days I was approved for a new axle. They shipped out the axle to a local trailer shop and documented they would pay for 1.5hrs of shop time to have it installed. Dexter also approved 2 new tires + installation (up to $1000).
All in all, I have a new axle and 2 new tires LT235/75R15 Falken Wildpeak AT4W 113R E1 for minimal cost, basically just my time.
Very impressed with Dexter and their prompt correspondence, action and payment.2020 T@B 400 BL w/solar. TV 2018 4Runner w/ Fox 2" lift. -
Reviving an old thread here, but I've got an issue with terrible tire wear (looks like camber is way out), and I believe my trailer is in the age range this thread refers to. I've got a non-boondock 2019 T@B400 I picked up used a year ago. The mileage was unknown, but the tires were not original (2023). They looked quite good - lots of tread left.
We just got back from a two month, 8.5k mile trek out west and I pulled the wheels/hubs because I wanted to inspect the brake shoes. The right (passenger) tire was unevenly worn, but not drastic. The left (driver) is nearly bald. Because water was often unavailable at sites where we stayed, we did a fair bit of travel with a full fresh water tank and I expect that at least partially explains the difference in the two.
I suspect I'm going to have to buy a new axle - we're definitely out of the original 5 year period and aren't the original owner - as well as new tires. And here I was worried about brake shoes...I can do the work, but it's still going to be a substantial out of pocket on the axle.
I just want to check that the definitive diagnostic is the resting camber? I can get my son to help me measure toe as well. -
Maybe I'm wrong but I thought the torsion axles have a 10 year warranty. Not that it matters if you aren't the original owner. Still, something for people to consider if they have to make a claim.2021 400 BD

I might enquire directly with Dexter about the warranty, who knows, maybe they'll honor it.
For the Boondock owners: I see only a 3500lb and 5100lb axle option. I'm considering switching to the heavier axle anyway since I suspect that we are getting up near the 3500lb limit with the tanks full, and I'm also contemplating adding weight in the form of a kayak rack and bike rack, at which point I'm sure we'll be past the 3500 limit.
Has anybody upgraded to the Toflex #11 5100lb axle? Thoughts on this? I haven't measured dimensions yet and I'm hoping it's a drop-in replacement. -
