Keder rail split on 320...fix ideas?

Bought a new 320 in 2021and we finally purchased a Pahaque visor for it in 2025.
But our keder rail is in two sections, meeting at the middle above the window and the two sections are not aligned.  The Pahaque keder rope stops here and won't budge (we tried going at it from both sides and trying to pry up or hammer down the sticking points to help align, we peeled a bit of the glue off too, but it won't budge.) Any ideas on how to get these to align ourselves, or do we need to go to a dealer..or replace with a continuous piece (seems odd to me that it is in two sections to begin with!)

Thanks!

This never really made sense to me.  Certainly Nucamp could get Keder to provide single pieces of rail in a length that wouldn't require a split.  We had to do some filing on ours to keep the awning from snagging.  After we filed, I put some Rustoleum on it.  Yours is too far off for filing though.  It needs to be aligned and refastened.

If I couldn’t bring the two edges into alignment with a vise/clamp I would take an angle grinder to it and just open it up so the Keder rail can slide through that point. Then paint it to reduce the visible grinds, it will be scarred but functional. Basically make a new Keder rail entry point right there, similar to the ones that already exist on the sides.
