Mattress for TAB 320s

My wife and I have a 2025 Tab 320s which we truly enjoy. The only issue we’ve been unable to crack is an improved sleeping surface. We’ve been using the twin bed arrangement but the cushions are not very comfortable. What have others done to improve the sleeping experience?

There are tons of different things owners do for this, and it is a much discussed subject.
One company that makes custom sized mattresses for RV's and boats, etc, is called "Mattress Insider".  The search below has discussions on them, and will also include all the other sorts of things that people are using.

This search is for "mattress topper" that will probably have more "generic" discussions on the subject.

Hi, In addition to toppers, for both our 320 and 360, we replaced the foam in the cushions with a much higher density ( Lux HQ) foam from the Foam Factory in MI.  It was a significant improvement , especially for sitting.  The OEM foam is extremely soft and low density.

@tdtaylor5850 we have a 2022 320s BD. I tried a Mattress Insider memory foam topper, but it still wasn't comfortable. I now have a 3" latex mattress that is extremely comfortable. A great night's sleep makes a big difference! (I'm a side sleeper.)

2 Thermarest self-inflating camping pads work for us. They roll up pretty small during the day.

I'm in the same situation. May I ask where you purchased the 3" latex mattress? I have a 2" latex mattress on top of upgrade cushions, and I still am not comfortable. I'm also a side sleeper.

@CatDaddy we ordered our 3" latex mattresses from https://diynaturalhome.com/. They're near St. Paul, MN. It wasn't cheap but it's been worth it for us. Thankfully, the company was less than an hour from us, so we were able to try out the different levels of support and pick up the finished product. The owner was very helpful in guiding us to what we needed. Latex is kinda heavy! Hopefully you can find a local company. I ended up with a Medium mattress. 70" long is a good fit in our 2022 320s.
Could you perhaps add another inch of latex to what you already have but have a new cover made to encase it all? Just a thought.

I use an Exped Megamat, which is similar but a bit thicker (3") than the regular Thermarest. The advantages of over a foam topper are: 1) firmness is adjustable by adding/releasing air 2) weighs much less 3) can be rolled into a fairly compact package.

tdtaylor5850 We tried toppers and they didn't work for us. We finally just ordered 2 custom 5.5" thick bifold Sedona mattresses from Mattress Insider. Best mod we're ever done. Very comfortable. Each mattress is actually 2 mattresses joined by a fabric hinge right where the back support pivots so it doesn't bunch up when you raise the back up.

I had the same issue with my 2022 320S BD. I had new cushions with much better foam made by Foam Warehouse NW in Clackamas, OR. I also bought a 2” latex topper. I should have gone with a 3” topper. It made a huge difference.

We used these memory foam camping pads in our 320 over the cushions. Worked great. https://amzn.to/47ZfSvS

We ordered for another bed in house, did not use, then decided to cut to fit (with electric carving knife) a 3 " gel foam then vacuum bagged it and put in the trailer behind the seat. Not a daily process, but when we are travelling distances - it works pretty nice. Might go down to 2" for smaller size but not sure how well 1 or 1.5 would do. I could be wrong and the thinner might very well work and store great.
