400 Front Screen Removal

I'm about to dive into replacing the front window on our 2019 400 due to the upper hinge separating from the trailer body (precursor to the window falling out when opened). I'm starting by removing the front screen to have better access for the seal replacement. I've removed the corner covers and the corner screws, but there are additional screws along the top and bottom length that are covered by the upper and lower covers. I started removing the horizontal screws holding the upper cover to the corners, but it appears I need to pull the corners out and away from the upper covers, thus widening the entire screen assembly. I'm nervous doing this as I don't what any mechanisms to come apart. Is that what I need to do to get access to the remaining screws holding the screen to the trailer body?

You dont actually need to remove the screen or rubber gasket to replace the window. The hing is above the window gasket not in it. However, no you do not need to pull the frame apart once you take out the screws. (Do not remove the set screws) You will actually want to press the sides together to keep it in one piece. Note there are also some clips top and bottom in the middle of the frame. Squeeze the frame top to bottom to dislodge the frame from the clips.AndreO

Thanks @AndreO !
That's just the info I'm looking for. I'm replacing the seal because the top edge of the seal is not in a straight line. It bulges out a bit in the center, where the Lexan separated from the hinge. Hopefully it's not an issue with the trailer frame around the window and just an issue with the seal.Rich2019 T@b 400

Okay. It turned out a couple of the staples that hold the seal to the frame were mis-located, causing them to bulge the seal near them. Pulled them out and now I have a nice straight seal along the top and there's no need to replace the seal. Thanks for the insight on removing the screen. That helped immensely.Rich2019 T@b 400
