Refrigerator 2022 Tab 400 BB works fine. We camped at Katadin Woods and Waters in Sept 2018 with a 13' Scamp Sandbank Stream campground near Lynx pond. It was just opened nobody else there. We road our MT Bikes around the loop and hiked MT Barnard. Meet the son of Roxanne Quimby. We were there 3 fabulous days. Could tell us what it was like for you. Laurie and Tim

Hi @TimandLaurie, pleased to hear that you made that trip in the very early days of the new National Monument. We timed our trip to have the opportunity to go to the newly opened Wabanaki welcome center (Tekαkαpimək Contact Station) and we drove half the loop in order to also climb Barnard Mountain. The welcome center is fabulous and well worth the drive in on unimproved gravel roads. We stayed in a commercial campground about twenty minutes away from the entrance on the shore of the east branch of the Penobscot River. The Mt. Katahdin area is one of Maine's natural gems and we are lucky that Roxanne Quimby donated the land to the Park Service.
