Alde system, low on glycol. Issue or not

I have posted that I am having issues with a dealer. I found that the Alde glycol tank was empty. The heat did work but the hot water did not. The dealer says there was still fluid in the lines and the unit is not damaged. This is a brand new trailer that I have not yet take delivery of. I have read old threads and posts of T@B owners who have left their heat on all winter, to open the trailer and find hat they have ran out of glycol in the system. Anyone with this experience, please chime in. Was it catastrophic failure, or did you replenish the system and it is back up and running?
Thanks for any input

Heat is provided to the cabin by circulating hot glycol from the Alde through convectors located under the benches. If the entire system was empty of glycol, the heat would not work. It is possible that the glycol could be low enough that the expansion tank (the highest point in the system) appears empty. Such a scenario would likely introduce air into the system and reduce heating function. However, you said the heat works which suggests there's still sufficient glycol in the boiler and convector loops. On a related note, if the heat works, than so does the hot water. This is tied to the design of the boiler core. If you have heat but not hot water, that points to a different issue other than the Alde.2015 T@B Max S (320)

Thank you for your reply. I have contacted Nucamp and they are great. The system was not completely empty and Nucamp gave me a similar explanation. I feel safe with what has happened from the dealer. The system was only ran for a short time.

Not to be too negative here but recognize that NuCamp will warranty this trailer however the component warranties are from the respective manufacturers. In the case of the Alde, I believe that is Truma. To be prudent I would verify with them that they will honor the warranty with the scenario you have experienced. The Alde is likely the most costly of all the systems in the T@B.2019 T@B400 Boondock Lite "Todd"2016 Toyota Tundra 5.7 Crew Cab
