Whoops - - - I Really Should Have Known Better

Not so bright action causes Battery to be at 30% SOC.

Normally for winter storage there is a 10W solar panel providing a trickle change to my 320S AGM battery.  When starting with a fully charged battery and the battery cut-off switch Off all is well.  Solar input even with a few snow events offsets the solar controller power draw and keeps the battery at 90%+ SOC.

Well, I've been in and out of the trailer a lot doing various projects . . . some of those projects required the battery switch to be On but no big deal as shore power was also On.

Then there was a series of tow vehicle projects that required the 320S power outlet (old garage, limited outlets/circuits).

You Know Where This Is Headed.

Finished the tow vehicle projects yesterday and returned to the next trailer project today.
Solar Controller was off, reached it's low battery shutoff voltage.
Dumb, Dumb Me . . . battery cut-off was On with no shore power and very limited sunshine . . .

Feeling like a Newbie   =)

It’s good that such … incidents are shared, as a lesson to others.

Mistakes? It is okay to make them.
But, try to make new ones the next time.
Repeating an old one doesn’t help anybody.
I’m learning that, though not as quick as I could have.

Good that you have AGM and not flooded/wet cell. Any shortening of life will be minimal.
