360 Cassette Question

The 360 has a cassette toilet . Why ?  You still have to go to the dump station for the grey water dump. Is there room to store a second cassette ?
Can you convert the grey tank to include the black waste - like the airstream Basecamp ? An unfortunate design decision IMO.

I have the cassette in my 320S and really prefer it over a black tank.  Reasons:
-I can empty the cassette whenever I need to without having to break-down camp.
-I can thoroughly clean the cassette when emptying.
-I don't have a smelly, dirty container permanently fixed to my camper.
-T@B campers are small, so a combined black/gray tank would not hold a lot and I'd rather reserve the space for more gray water.  I use the shower and sink quite a bit.
-I can also drain the gray tank, if necessary, into a portable bucket and carry it to waste disposal.  It's basically soapy water without all the other nasty stuff.

It wasn't a combined black/gray tank. There was a 19gal gray tank and an 8gal black tank in the pre-2020 320s. Most of the portable dump caddies are too tall for the T@B.

@Mickerty.  Understood.  I was commenting on the original post mentioning the combined tank in a Basecamp.  But to me, it's still a permanently mounted septic tank.  Just my preference.  Regarding the caddies:  Because it's basically soapy water in my gray tank, I just use a small bucket on the rare occasions that I've had to empty.  An open container of soapy water doesn't scare me!

In some early threads on cassette toilets, it was commented that some folks faced restrictions from emptying the cassette tank by camp rules.
Have any of you in recent years experienced such restrictions ? And… do any folks carry a second cassette; and if so where do you store it ?  Thanks.

We have a cassette in our 320 and love it..simple and easy to dump. We travel in Canada and the U.S. and h Ave not had an issue dumping it. On one of our outings last year we didn't want to move the camper to empty our grey tank..we emptied our cassette first, rinsed it and the using the garden hose attachment to the Grey tank we did a slow release into our cassette container..took 2 x but it worked. I know Verna at one time had a second cassette for her bondocking adventures. We're looking forward to our uprising to the 360 CS..

Love our cassette which we dump every second day at times we know the dump stations are usually empty. Here at Ontario provincial parks we typically stay until the time to be out of 2pm and we just drive right by the long lineups at the dump station. We are outside campers so our gray tank does not get much use and dump that when back home.

I seriously considered getting a second cassette, but at almost $300 that's a discussion for another budget cycle. I'd carry it in the back of my truck which has a tonneau cover on it, it I did.
Btw, I do carry a rhino 20-something gallon black tank in the bed of my truck, but it has always (and only) been used for gray water. When I had an Aliner I didn't have an onboard gray tank, so I had to use a 6 gallon external tank which then got dumped into the 20 gallon tank if the situation required.  The 20 gallon tank stays in the bed of the truck and then gets dumped on the lawn when I get home via hose. This eliminates any heavy lifting. And the rhino tank wasn't cheap either... like $225 or something at the time. I don't think I'd want to put any black water in it, that'd just open up a whole new set of variables that I'd rather not deal with.
