Tapping into 12V power to TV

I have recently purchased a 2021 T@B 400 and want to add a blu ray player for when I don't have a network available. I purchased a used 12V Sony blu ray player and intended to use the cigarette lighter under the TV shelf for power. Would anyone have an idea of if there is any reason I couldn't just add a splitter (female to 2 x male) onto the 12V line running to the TV to also power the blu ray player? I imagine it is simply a watt/amp question but maybe there is something I'm overlooking.

    The 12V ports work from a 15 amp fuse in the WFCO.  So, the maximum "theoretical" amount of power you could draw from that circuit would be 180 watts.  (12V times 15 amps =180 watts).  As long as you don't exceed that limit, and I doubt any combo of TV and DVD player would come close, you would be fine.  
    Not sure how your player is powered: some DVD players can be powered with USB connections.  Does your TV have a USB port that you could use to power the player?
