12V AC Cool Cat Replacement

Cool Cat uses an amazing amount of power 1200 Watts running.  Has anyone looked at trying one of these new 12V DC units ?  The size looks pretty close to the Cool Cat.

    I removed my Cool Cat for a kitchen remodel, using the space for a larger sink above and a cassette toilet below.  Now I'm installing a Velit 12v air conditioner utilizing the 14x14 vent opening in the roof.  Just arrived yesterday, so I'll see how the install goes.  I'll be reinforcing the roof, although this unit only weighs 49 lbs.  I also purchased a larger (Litime 320ah) battery to help it.
