Newbies on the Front Range of Colorado

I have wanted a Tab 320 for ten years. So after years of watching 320 camper videos on YouTube, many, many hours reading this forum, and talking about Tabs every time we tent camp, my wife and I finally pulled the trigger on a new-to-us 2022 Tab 320 S. We have had the camper a couple of weeks, but after hours of fooling around with the Tab in our driveway we were finally able to get out to a local state park last weekend for a one-night trial run. Everything worked great and we had a blast! The camper was well maintained and we haven't found any problems. I am going to recaulk the bathroom and exchange the glycol this spring, but other than a few maintenance things the camper seems to be in near-perfect condition (I immediately upgraded to lithium, btw). We were really impressed with how little the Alde had to run to keep the camper toasty while camping in the '30's. Overall, we are just so thrilled. And a big shoutout to this forum. What a great resource! We actually used the forum this weekend to figure out that our model has the stove cover that doesn't click into place. The cover hits the shade frame before it locks into place. Bungee cord to the rescue, for now.

p.s. We have 20 nights reserved for summer 2026, mostly in Colorado. Hope to camp about 25 nights this year.

    Hi @Bugeub,
Truma might be at the June 24-28 Taborado Rally in Palisade.  You might see if Truma will be doing on-site glycol maintenance at Taborado if you can't or don't want to DIY.  Truma offers that service at the annual nuCamp Rally in Sugarcreek, maybe $600? Their tech sessions are pretty informative.

The actual build date of your trailer (month and year) is noted on a sticker on the driver's side of the front tongue.  Also, there is a plastic sleeve on the Alde unit itself that holds a service maintenance card (you can only see the top of the sleeve. It faces the outside wall on the driver's side).  The tongue sticker will indicate how old the factory fluid may be, while the maintenance card will indicate if the previous owner had the fluid changed prior to your purchase.  If you do have the fluid exchanged, have them update that maintenance card.
