bathroom/shower faucet

I have a new-to-me 2021 320.
I'm surprised that I'm not able to lift the faucet from its place - so that means I can't use it for a shower.
Is there something I'm doing wrong or not aware of?
It'll swing back and forth, but I'm unable to lift it up. Is there a trick to it?
Thank you!

Hi, The panel behind the toilet can be removed by removing the 3 screws at the bottom of the panel. The panel will then swing out. You then can inspect for anything that may be tangled or preventing the faucet from being lifted out. Or maybe a previous owner made a modification.

It should lift up easily if original equipment. Perhaps it is caught on something below or was replaced with a fixed unit. Remove the toilet back to reveal the compartment below.
