Alde pump: Manual vs PWM

In the Alde system control panel in my 2026 T@B 360, under System Configuration / Pump, the options are: Manual vs PWM. Googling PWM it appears to be Pulse Width Modification, giving a more even flow of heat. Seems like I should set it on PWM. Any thoughts?

I might be reading a manual that is a bit out of date, but I did find a reference to the pump "PWM" in a European web page. And that reminded me of this thread from a while back.

There are two styles of pumps: the ones that practically all of us have, which is controlled by a very small "knob" on he side of the pump itself. The other is set by a setting on the control panel that you found. The PWM would be a small controller on the pump that would adjust the setting from the panel.

And, since I have no idea, you may have to do a little Tab Yoga to get down near the pump and see if you have the little "knob" on the pump. Or, if it does not, then you would activate the "PWM" setting and you can control the pump from the panel.

Look over this thread, where both of these pumps are described, and where our very famous Verna actually had a "PWM" pump. (It very well may be that Verna had the only one…but I have no idea).

The Alde 3030-Plus system installed on the new Haven, 22-foot, uses the PWM.

The standard Alde 3030 system (believe, 3030+ might be an option) installed on the TAB 360 can have a standard or PWM pump. Look at the pump, if you can see a knob/switch with tiny numbers 1-5 you have the standard pump — the above linked thread will help in locating the knob — .
My Guess, only a guess, nuCamp installed the standard pump.

This figure has information from a Haven Owner and an overview of the two pump types.
