Diamond plate storage tub leaks

I'm disappointed in the tub on my 2025 Tab320 not being anywhere near dry as well. I understand the propane side needs to be vented but there is no excuse for the main cargo side to be wet. The lack of overhang on the hinge lip is ridiculous. Rain runs down the front of the camper and hits that edge and pours right in, then there are 3 large holes near the bottom on the backside that it pours in also. I don't mind some water getting in at the bottom but to have everything get soaking wet from top down is just poor execution. I put a strip of Flexseal tape over the 3 holes near the bottom on the backside and also put a piece from the inside. I left all the small holes in the bottom for drainage. I put a strip of rubber weather strip along the back hinge side. The type like you would see on a refrigerator door, and then ran the expandable foam type weatherstripping all the around the bottom side of the top so that it seals when closed. I also ran a bead of clear silicone along the bottom and up the sides a bit on the partition that separates the propane side just in case the water that pours into the regulator opening wants to migrate over to the dry side.
