T@B 320 CS Visor - Poles seem long....

Not sure the make of the visor, came with the T@B. Very experienced with tents and poles, etc.

Poles seem about 6-8" too long. All the sections are the same length, except for one on one end that is about 6'-8". I can get the pole in tight on the far end, but cant get the second end into the sleeve at the end. And the visor doesnt seem to be as taught as photos show them.

I figure it is user error but looking for suggestions. Thank you.

Not a user error, is a new user learning event.

I have both the standard size and Extra-Large Visor's both have the seem to long edge tensioning poles as you describe.

    • Make sure the enclosed end of pole is fully into/up to the rail pocket end,
    • now for the fun,
    • while keeping the 'free end' pole pocket end flap open . . . over bend the pole a bit to force it into the pocket,
    • it will fit - - - and once in place the pole visor edge will bow up a bit to form the 'visor' shape.

This process takes some practice . . . and getting it out is also a bit challenging.

    These directions are spot on

I was worried it would not fit or rip first time I tried

9 years later it is still very snug

Thank you all. Will give this a try. Both end pockets show signs of tearing/seam stress. Will see how it holds up.
