Moisture issue in 2015 T@B 320S??
Hello campers!
Pretty much what my title says... We have an older (2015) T@B that we absolutely love, but just over one year into ownership we are spotting some issues that might need attention.
We live in a warm, humid climate, so of course moisture is a constant concern. We do not use the bath, nor any running water inside the unit. (Our trips are only a few nights at time, so we're fine with "roughing it.") The little AC unit, however, gets pretty much non-stop use when we're out.
When camping, we're mindful to set the unit so that the AC is draining out and towards the front. She is parked in a sunny field and covered whenever not in use - and we do keep DampRid in the cabin as well.
BUT… between steady humidity, heavy seasonal rains, and regular use of the AC unit - clearly moisture is collecting from something. We've recently spotted some small darker spots in the ceiling veneer, and that can't be good. Even noticed some small "bubbles" or "blisters" on the ceiling near the AC unit last week.
Should we start with trying to open up the space where the AC unit is housed, to see what's happening back there? Could there be some breach in the ceiling vent fan, or the plumbing vent? (No issues are immediately visible when we inspect those areas.)
Really reluctant to tear into anything involving any of the woodwork...but something needs attention!

Welcome to the Forums…….
(I'm assuming the video on the FB page is yours? That is a lot of moisture).
It is hard to tell on this, but the reason for any condensation is the temperature has lowered to the "dew point". Your AC has lowered the temperature of everything in the trailer, which is great..but it is not removing the humidity, which is not great.
Is the AC in your 2015 the original unit? Have you done things like clean the filter (if there is one). Just a quick look at the internet comments about "AC not removing humidity" discuss that sort of thing: filters, coils. Even the odd way that the Tab's AC's work in that small enclosed space can prevent the air from circulating properly and clearing out the humidity. Do you have that small "fan switch" on the wall next to the TV?
We have plenty of info about opening up the AC area and checking things: there have been issues in the past with insulation in the AC space that dislodged and caused some issues, so having a look in the that area is probably a good idea.
Which AC is it? Look over the thread below that shows an AC removal on a 2016.
