Help please with roof vinyl trim please

There is a black vinyl tape that is inserted in the aluminum track trim at the edge of the roof and wall to seal off the screws. I'm sure others have asked but my searches have been fruitless. What is the best source to buy the tape and are there any tricks to install. Sun has taken it's toll on mine.

    What year is your trailer? When we start talking about "trim" there can be several different "trims", with different materials and purposes.

    So, the year and model…and even better…a picture….will really really help.
