    Tongue weight loaded will be a problem. I had a '23 Maverick with the 4K tow package and it tows a 320 okay but fully loaded with propane and water it had quite a bit of squat. Sold the 320 and got a camper about the same weight as the 400 and decide that I would have to go with something with a little more tongue weight capacity than the Maverick (Ranger). I'm not a fan of covering a tongue weight problem with a weight distribution hitch. Not sure Nucamp recommends them with their campers anyway as in some cases they put to much pressure on the front of the camper's frame.

    I continue to tow my 2024 T@B 400 with my 2024 Maverick. Yes, I'm close to the maximum towing capacity but not over it and the tongue weight is again close to the maximum but not over it. We travel with the water tank about 1/3rd full, though ironically a full tank actually lowers the tongue weight because most of the tank is behind the axle.

    We travel quite light and do not carry a lot of "stuff" in the truck. My wife and I combined weigh well less than 300lbs. and the truck bed contains just two light canvas chairs a small cooler and suitcase solar panel.. The truck is perfectly level when hitched, as is the trailer.

    I'm not saying I wouldn't like a little spare capacity but I don't need it. I'd really prefer to tow with my EV but charging in areas where we boondock just isn't practical. As a conservationist I hate burning fossil fuel - hence getting the smallest truck that will do the job.
