magnetic serendipity
solved a nagging problem today with the commode lids in the TAB400. Probably works on other models.
It can be quite a juggling act to hold the lid and seat up on the commode while we men stand to take care of business. I decided to tackle this finally with some rare earth magnets. One on the wall (window frame) and one under the cover and one under the seat. Just super glued on. If you do this, make sure the magnets are oriented so they attract each other before gluing.
