TAB 360 =-= Two Battery Cut-Off Switches ?

Was tire kicking a 2025 TAB 360S the other day.
Dealership web-site claimed it had/has the extra lithium package:

  • ~270AHr Battery
  • Multi-plus changer/inverter

Actual trailer had a 100AHr battery and standard WFCO Power Center (breakers+fuses)

Real confusion is the trailer has Two Battery Cut-Offs:

  1. One in small outside storage compartment under rear passenger seat (near battery) and beside it was a standard 60A/48V DCV Circuit Breaker
  2. Second is in the cabin, near Adle space, below the Tank Heater Switch (Black Canyon).

Why Two ? ?

  • NuCamp has been telling owners in the manuals the last few years some odd things when putting the trailer "in storage". They want owners to pull the fuse on the "solar controller" . The manual does not seem to specify what fuse to pull: the fuse between the controller and the battery? The fuse located on the "bottom" of the solar controller? The fuse in from the solar panels at the controller? One FB owner seems to have been told to pull the fuse on the bottom of the controller….a b——— to remove and replace. All this in order to prevent the "solar controller from draining the battery". With the battery switch off, the solar controller parasitic drain might be an amp per month, which adds a small amount to the standard "self discharge" of any battery setup. The manual also advises to check the state of charge of the battery occasionally, but if your Victron is turned off, now you need a multimeter, etc.

So, I wonder if the extra disconnect is for the Solar controller wiring between the battery and controller?

Good a guess as any - - - with the one in the storage area being Fully Off {guess} - - -

On my 320S I cover and store outside however I've got a 10W Solar Panel 'not under the cover' that handles the Solar Controller and keeps a trickle charge on the AGM Battery.
